Half finished project – number 1

It’s been SATS week here in our household. Even though we’ve always stressed SATS are for the schools benefit and not the children, it is amazing how the pressure was still felt. My daughter and I have been meditating on a daily basis. There’s lots of research to show the benefits of meditation so we are going to continue for the recommended 6 weeks to see how we feel.  Already my head feels less frantic so that’s a good start. 

I’m concentrating on finishing my half finished denim pinafore dress. The denim material has a stretch in it and the hem is curved so I’m attaching some bias binding to the edge to try and make it easier to handle. I also need to stitch two buttonholes and I’ve never used this on my sewing machine yet so this will be a new challenge.
