Fabric cutting

Fabric cut out ready to stitch a new make-up bag. Love the one I use now but I made it a while ago and it’s looking a bit battered 😦

Took me ages to cut the fabric for my new one. Love the fabric sooo much it was a hard decision deciding whether to use it and cut into it!! Eventually felt it was a waste for the material to stay hidden away in a drawer and I should use it and appreciate it every day (also I seriously need to use my fabric stash as it’s growing instead of decreasing – it’s becoming more difficult to hide!)

The pattern I’m using is from an old stitch magazine – Sew Hip. I change it slightly by adding a lining as I think it gives the bag more structure and looks more expensive.

Use and enjoy things that make you feel good and happy – it’s good for your mental health and shows how much you care and value yourself 🙂
