Phew family Christmas cards are finished! These cards have been a little labour of love. The stitched part was a clear picture in my head but as to how this would be mounted on a card and what the finished card would look like wasn’t and I spent a long time deciding at the craft supply shop. I am really pleased with them. Each one is a unique piece as the melted wax crayon and stitching is different on all of them.
Not out of my comfort zone this week so have felt a lot calmer and not as anxious. I’m more excited about Christmas this year and it seems less of a chore/hassle.
I felt really proud (and scared) when my blog post on Parenting with Depression and Anxiety was published by I am 1 in 4. I have got used to telling people about my depression and anxiety on this blog and at work but I still felt totally out of my comfort zone when they published it; hence I couldn’t even mention it on this blog! I am 1 in 4 is a great place where people share their experiences of mental health and it helps me realise I am not the only person feeling this way.
I’m loving my new Christmas tree decoration by Kate Holliday Buttons – it was a little present to myself at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Harrogate as I couldn’t chose which of her buttons to buy 🙂
